Giving Back Locally
Start your 2018 by signing up with some great volunteer opportunities in your community. Greater Cleveland Volunteers, a nonprofit in Cuyahoga County, enriches the community and individuals through volunteer service. They are available to work one-on-one with anyone that wants to find out more about volunteering in Cuyahoga County.
Opportunities in Cuyahoga County range from working with children, assisting at hunger centers, mentoring/teaching adults, improving the environment, to providing support in medical facilities, office-related needs and helping with special events.
Not happy with a holiday gift this year? Before you return it, follow up on your promise to do more good this year and donate it to Cornerstone of Hope’s 15th Annual Benefit Gala, to be held Feb. 24. Donate any gifts, tickets, or experiences and they’ll appear in the silent auction. Any gifts are also tax deductible at their market value!
Why not give back to your local national park and have fun?
The Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park is the non-profit friends group of CVNP. They provide many unique events, programs, and member exclusive offers all year round. Experience your park on a different path by attending one or all of their events this winter where funds go back to helping restore habitats, trail maintenance, and environmental education programs for students.
