Spotlight: Champion Studios, LLC
Join us as we talk with T.L. Champion, President of Champion Studios, LLC, about helping people with her gift of creativity and problem solving.
What is your first memory of your business?
As a copywriter, my first client was American Greetings, the company I left to start my own business.
How does your first memory compare to what the company has become today?
Champion Studios has evolved over time. Yes, we still offer copywriting services for companies that are interested, however, we also produce beautiful videos for our clients using the Become an Effective Speaker System that culminates at our yearly BLISS Event (Business Leaders & Inspirational Speakers Series) and we do some ghostwriting or help them develop their memoirs, novels and business books with our Become a Published Author System.
What has surprised you the most about being a business owner?
It surprises me that people will seek me out and pay me good money for my creative ideas. After 20 years in corporate America, I always wanted to have that kind of relationship with my employer, but it was hard to come by.
Who are some of the coolest people you've met since opening?
Maria Jeancola of Network Fifty Two. She’s become a huge champion for this champion. Marliee MacAskill of Dale Carnegie Training. Jill Katzenberg of Send Out Cards.
What might we be surprised to learn about your business?
I’m celebrating my 20 year anniversary on October 23, 2018, at the next BLISS Event.
How do you think your company will change in the next 5 years?
I hope to publish more writing of my own.
What has been your main goal running this company?
To help people with my gift of creativity and problem solving.
Why did you choose Cleveland?
I was born here and there is no other place I want to live.
What has been the most satisfying thing about opening this business?
My independence. My happy clients. And the ability to feed my creative soul.
