How did your business get its start?
National Office was founded in 1967 by Robert Schneider. The company has grown and evolved into what it is today: a full-service office furniture manufacturing company led by his son, Greg Schneider.
How long have you been in business?
Over 50 years!
What do you like most about your job?
I really like the people I work with. Many of us have been in this industry for over 20 years! We know our businesses and as a team, we continue to evolve with new products and services.
What do you like best about working in Cleveland?
Cleveland is fun! Between our sports teams, great restaurants, our parks, and the lake, what’s not to love? It is so easy to show our out of town customers and dealers a great time while they are here! Most of them look forward to it as well, Cleveland has really come a long way and now has a great reputation around the country.
What makes National Office unique?
We sell Factory Direct. While we sell our furniture nationally through dealers, we invite local businesses to come tour our factory and know they are getting the best price on our quality, gen2 office furniture, as it is coming straight from the manufacturer!
What does keep it local mean to you and your business?
We live here, we work here. By supporting local businesses, we are supporting our friends, neighbors and families!
