Greater Cleveland Volunteers

Greater Cleveland Volunteers enriches the community and individuals through volunteer services. We recruit individuals age 18 years+ to volunteer at 100+ nonprofit organizations throughout Cuyahoga County.

We offer on-going and special event volunteer opportunities.

Here are a few featured volunteer opportunities. Have an interest and don’t see it? Call us and a volunteer coordinator will assist.

On-Going:

Data Entry Assistants -Organizations near downtown and on the east side of Cleveland seek volunteers to assist with data entry. Experience with Excel required, knowledge of databases and spreadsheets preferred. Schedule, hours, and time commitment are flexible. Help students develop math and reading skills – Encourage independent reading and learning by reading together and engaging in a variety of learning-related games and activates. Assist with Blood Drives and/or Disaster ReliefProvide a valuable service during blood drives from helping with intake to walking donor through process or you can volunteer to be on call to offer relief to people who have experienced a disaster. Help with food, clothing, first aid and other emergency needs. Training is provided. Contact Nancy at 216-391-9500 X123 or ndzurnak@greaterclevelandvolunteers.org.

Help with Science projects- Assist students with fun projects and activities in science, technology, engineering and math, on one or two Saturdays per month at Great Lakes Science Center. There is a need for Winter break camp volunteers. Volunteers must enjoy science and enjoy working with young learners.
